The Palm Vein Hybrid (PHV) Biometric is a globally unique technology that offers users fast, flexible and highly accurate identity (ID) authentication. It is software that can be used with virtually any mobile phone or tablet with a camera, enabling ubiquitous secure ID authentication. It is also touchless for convenience, which reduces the chances of disease transmission.
In Japan, PHV is being rolled out in partnership with the largest credit card company and a national convenience retail store. In addition, it is being used by a growing number of companies across a wide range of uses including retail, hospitals, building management, banks, ticketing, autos, and delivery. The technology is used for secure and highly reliable ID authentication for financial transactions, logistics management, facility access ,and employee management.
The technology was developed in Japan and we are the sole partner in for the North American market.

The Palm Vein Hybrid authentication technology is based on a globally unique, patented algorithm that incorporates deep learning to ensure a high level of performance.
PHV approach
Using a proprietary algorithm, our PHV can read both palm vein patterns and palm print patterns using existing mobile device cameras to create unique ID authentication.

Using as reference the testing of the international Common Criteria to measure mobile biometric authentication performance, the palm vein hybrid outperforms mobile facial recognition and mobile iris authentication. Our technology is the only mobile biometric to achieve Evaluation Assurance Level 2 under the Common Criteria.
